As a result of Manthorpe’s respected reputation in this field, we now have established contacts on a number of major research projects.
Our relationships continue to grow in the field of science and research, working with organisations such as the Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC) and the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA). The UKAEA has responsibility for positioning the UK as a leader in sustainable, nuclear energy and Manthorpe intends to be part of that venture.
The sector demands some of the most advanced engineering, specialist materials, processes, manufacturing techniques and knowledge available. As a result of Manthorpe’s respected reputation in this field, we can now claim having established contacts on a number of major research projects.
These projects include: European Southern Observatory (ESO), International Thermonuclear Experimental Reactor (ITER), European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (ESRF), Institute Laue-Langevin (ILL) and Diamond Light Source (DLS).
